Dr. Jeremy L. Hawkins, DDS, PharmD
Dr. Jeremy Hawkins was raised in the nearby town of Madison and attended Dalton L. McMichael High School. Following high school, Dr. Hawkins attended UNC-Chapel Hill, where he earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. After practicing retail pharmacy for several years, Dr. Hawkins decided to pursue his long-held passion for dentistry. He then graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill once again, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
During dental school, Dr. Hawkins reinforced his calling for helping patients achieve their oral health goals and realized that he could use his advanced education to continue helping others in need. During dental school, Dr. Hawkins received numerous awards, including the:
- Academy of General Dentistry Senior Award
- Academy of Operative Dentistry Award
- Grover C. Hunter Award in Periodontology
- Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Award
Dr. Hawkins seeks to continually improve his knowledge of dentistry by participating in numerous continuing education courses.
In his free time, Dr. Hawkins enjoys spending time with his wife (Abbey) and children (Landon, Leland, & Lincoln), cheering on the Tar Heels, and enjoying almost any type of outdoor sport or activity.
